Local, friendly staff set the tone

“Floor-to-ceiling windows in The Oyster Store provide views over the terrace. A starter of mussels in a silky chilli, coconut and lemongrass cream was wonderfully light, followed by an impressive Shellfish platter of oysters, mussels, crevettes, crab and half a lobster. The hotel has an in-house forager so the menu is commendably fresh and local. The coffee crème brulee is highly recommended for dessert”

Exquisite

“My husband and I had a delicious meal and delightful evening out at this restaurant during Cowes week. I do totally recommend this restaurant for a special night out or for people who love good food and don't mind paying a bit more for it. We enjoyed an aperitif on the terrace and then savored our meal together with great wine. Minimalist decor, but it had just been refurbished so may have more pictures up now”

Gorgeous fantastic lunch in glorious surroundings

“A rainy and sunny day in Cowes was elevated by a lunch here. Honeyed scallops with chillie and chorizo wow. Followed by mains and then chocolate fondant”
